Why build a desktop app instead of a web app?
Local file or hardware access, guaranteed offline operation, OS-level integration, or data too sensitive to leave the machine. If none of those apply, a web app is almost always the better answer and we will say so.
Have you actually shipped desktop software?
Yes — Arora AI, a multi-agent desktop voice assistant built with Electron and Python, running four coordinating agents locally. It is in our portfolio, so you can see what we shipped rather than take the claim on trust.
Can AI models run locally instead of in the cloud?
Yes, and for sensitive data that is often the reason to go desktop at all. Speech recognition and smaller language models can run on the user machine, so audio and documents never leave it. Larger models still need an API, and we will be clear about which parts go where.
How quickly do I get a quote?
Within 48 hours of sending a brief. You get a fixed scope stating what is in and what is out, one firm price for that scope, a delivery date with milestones, and the stack we would use with the reasoning. Prices listed on the site are starting points; your quote is a single number, and it is the number you pay.
Do you work with businesses outside Vadodara?
Yes. SoulPlex Studios operates from two offices — Vadodara, Gujarat and Jaipur, Rajasthan — and works with clients across India remotely. Studio hours are Monday to Saturday, 09:00–21:00 IST.
What happens after the project goes live?
Every build includes handover documentation, and where relevant a walkthrough for your team. Ongoing support and optimisation can be arranged as a retainer if you want us to keep maintaining and extending the system.
